Referral Program Terms & Conditions

1. Promotion Period

The Promotion is active now and continues until terminated by Kacha at its sole discretion (the “Promotion Period”). We may pause, modify or end the Promotion at any time, with or without prior notice.

2. Eligibility & Participation

• Who can participate: The Promotion is available to Kacha users in the regions where the platform operates. You must have a valid Kacha account in good standing.
• New user requirement: The invited person (the “Referred User”) must be a genuinely new Kacha user and must enter the referrer’s code during sign-up. A code cannot be applied to an account that has already used a referral code.
• No self-referrals: You may not refer yourself or use your own referral code. Attempts to do so are automatically rejected.
• Referral limits: Users may earn multiple referral bonuses, but Kacha reserves the right to cap the total number of bonuses any single user may earn.

3. How to Qualify for Rewards

To unlock the referral reward, the following condition must be met in full:

• The receipt rule: The Referred User must scan a valid receipt on five (5) different calendar days, all within a fourteen (14) day period starting from the date their account is created. Multiple receipts scanned on the same calendar day count as a single qualifying day.
• Completion: Once five qualifying scan-days are verified within the window, the reward is credited automatically to both accounts. If the Referred User does not reach five scan-days within the 14-day window, the referral expires and the reward is forfeited.

4. Reward Distribution

• Reward: Upon successful qualification, both the referrer and the Referred User each receive a bonus of 500 Kacha Points, credited to their in-app wallet.
• Timing: Rewards are credited automatically as soon as the qualification condition is met and verified. No manual claim is required.
• Reward value: Kacha Points are a promotional loyalty currency with no cash value. They can be redeemed for eligible rewards (such as airtime) subject to availability and the Kacha Points & Rewards Terms. Point values and redemption rates may change over time.

5. Valid Receipts

Only genuine, readable receipts qualify. Duplicate, altered, unreadable, fraudulent or otherwise invalid receipts do not count toward qualification and may result in disqualification.

6. Taxes & Fees

Any taxes, fees or other costs related to accepting or using a referral reward are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

• No liability for errors: Kacha is not responsible for technical, typographical or editorial errors or omissions in these terms, the receipt-scanning process, or promotional materials.

8. Disqualification & Clawbacks

Any violation of these terms or the broader Kacha Terms of Service will result in immediate disqualification. If disqualified, you agree that:

1. You will forfeit and return the value of any referral bonuses received under this Promotion.
2. Kacha may deduct, offset or otherwise claw back that value directly from your account.

9. General Rights

Kacha reserves the right to interpret these terms at its sole discretion. We may modify the terms, exclude participants or cancel the Promotion entirely at any time, with or without prior notice.
