Kacha for Stores & Manufacturers

See what your market actually buys.

Kacha shoppers scan the receipts from every store they visit. Stores see who is coming through their doors and bring them back with offers. Manufacturers see where their products sell.

Stores and retailers

Bring the shoppers who already scanned your receipts back.

Every receipt a Kacha shopper scans at your branch is a customer who chose you. Kacha Stores shows you that, and lets you reward the next visit.

  • See your branches’ receipts

The receipts shoppers have scanned at your branches, and the offers bringing them back.

  • Claim your branches

Search for a branch by name and claim it. Kacha reviews every claim before it is linked to your account.

  • Run bonus-points offers

Create an offer and submit it for review. Once approved it goes live for Kacha shoppers at your store.

  • Keep your details right

Update the address and contact details customers see for each branch.

Manufacturers and brands

Find out where your products sell — from real receipts.

Purchases of your products, read from receipts Kacha shoppers scanned, added up across stores and months.

  • Your products, matched

Kacha links catalogue entries to your company, so receipt lines become your products — not a guess.

  • Where they sell

Verified purchases by store over the last 12 months.

  • What moves

Top products by observed spend, so you can see the mix at a glance.

  • Trends over time

Watch how purchases change month to month across the stores that stock you.

How the data works

Useful, and honest about what it is.

Receipt data is powerful and easy to oversell. This is exactly what it is, and what it is not.

  1. Shoppers scan

Shoppers photograph receipts for points. That is the only reason the data exists.

  2. Items are read

Each receipt is read line by line — merchant, product, quantity and price.

  3. Products are matched

Lines are matched to a product catalogue. Anything that cannot be matched with confidence is left out, not guessed.

  4. Totals, never people

Purchases are added up across shoppers. You see totals by product and store — never who bought.

What it is

  • A sample of Kacha shoppers’ receipts, good for trends and for the mix of what is bought where.
  • Aggregated: no names, phone numbers or accounts, ever.
  • Specific to shopper receipts — a business’s receipts are never included.

What it is not

  • Not total market sales. Shoppers who use Kacha are not every shopper, so read it as a panel.
  • Not market share. Shares are within the panel, and shown with how much data sits behind them.
  • Not a view of any individual customer.

Questions

What suppliers ask us

Do you sell shopper data?
Suppliers see purchases added up across many shoppers, by product and store. They never see who bought, and personal details are not part of what a supplier can access.
Can I see individual shoppers?
No. Stores see the receipts scanned at their branches and the offers running; manufacturers see aggregated purchases of their products.
How do my products get linked?
Kacha links product catalogue entries to your company. Analytics appear once those products are linked and shoppers have scanned them.
Can I run offers for shoppers?
Stores can. You create a bonus-points offer, submit it for review, and once approved it goes live for Kacha shoppers at your store.
Why not give me market share?
Because the panel is a sample of shoppers, and a share of a sample is not a share of the market. We would rather show you trends you can trust.
How do manufacturers get access?
Manufacturer accounts are set up with us directly. Email us and we will arrange it.
